What is the Thrift Store Swap?
The Thrift Store Swap is a challenge for bloggers who love taking an item that has seen better days and transforming it into something fabulous! Currently, we are completing 4 challenges per year.
How does the Swap work?
Each blogger shops at their local second-hand store in search for $10 worth of items with potential. Here comes the fun part, blogger A sends to blogger B, blogger B sends to blogger C..and so on until the loop is complete. Each participant receives a package of unknown goodies to re-purpose while sending the same to another…it’s both exciting and a little scary at the same time.
Once everyone is done transforming their items, we each share a tutorial (or two) of how it can be replicated. What will we create with our surprise items? You’ll have to visit every summer, fall, winter and spring for the reveal!
How do I join?
Believe it or not but we PURPOSELY CHOOSE to keep our swap small. We love getting to know each other through the process and cannot do that with a large group.
