Let’s be frank, 3 hours…even 1 hour can be completely unrealistic with children. This is why I keep a date kit in my car. We keep a first aid kit in our glove box. I blame this mentality on my military days. There were days when the mission left me stranded without meds and deodorant. I learned to keep travel-sized hygiene items with me at all times. You never know when you need to freshen up.
