BladeRunner x2 Saw Review
As a DIYer, one of the biggest setbacks that we encounter is lacking the RIGHT tool for the job. There have been several projects that I’ve nixed purely because of equipment limitations…which is extremely frustrating, right? Que Rockwell Tools and their slogan that is right on!
Tools for people that ROCK…that’s all of us DIY superstars! I was given a BladeRunner x2 to try and review, so let me tell you how great this saw is…then I’ll get to the good part.
The BladeRunner x2 is the go anywhere table saw because it weighs only 13 pounds! Seriously, that’s less than most of our children. But this baby can cut through wood, metal, plastic, aluminum and ceramic tile.
I’m all about ease of use, so one of my favorite features is that it has a toolless blade change. You simply push a button, insert the blade and release the button. I’ve dealt with harder to change surgical equipment back in my OR days so the BladeRunner x2 is a dream.
What did we think after our first project?
How about a Christmas Tree for our Elf on the Shelf?
Done!
As you can see our first project was a success…and it took less than 2 minutes to cut it out. The BladeRunner x2 is pretty intuitive, there is a rip fence to guide long straight cuts (such as laminate) and a hold down guard if you choose to use it. It’s perfect for cross cuts or scrolling which is what I CANNOT wait to do! This saw is lightweight, user-friendly, versatile and budget friendly as well. The BladeRunner x2 met our DIY needs (and then some) and now I’m making a list of projects that I couldn’t do before.
If you are looking to ROCK someone’s Holiday, look into this bad boy!
Remember how I mentioned that there was more? Yup, how about a GIVEAWAY? One lucky MidMichiganMom follower will win a BladeRunner X2 of their own! The Winner will be notified within 48 hours of the end of the sweepstakes and Rockwell Tools will FedEx one directly to them. Are you on a budget for a gift for the DIYer? Why not win one?! Good luck ya’ll! You may be hearing from me soon!
